  2. Medical studentís network for organ donation awareness work to urge maximum people in India to register for cadaveric organ donation.
  3. MANODA network works to propagate the cause with the help of media and press and involve and associate government organisations with this noble cause.
  4. MANODA network associates and brings together medical,dental,post graduation, homeopathy and Ayurveda students to hold hands and work for the cause of organ donation awareness.

MANODA network creates awareness by:

  1. taking teams of medical students of different cities of north India to schools and colleges and enlightening them regarding cadaveric organ donation and by informing them about how easily they and their relatives can register themselves for organ donation with HODR,sir ganga ram hospital,orbo,AIIMS.(registration procedure).
  2. By speaking about the cause on local radio programmes.
  3. By spreading awareness about the cause and registration procedures through local newspapers.
  4. Spreading awareness by method of e-mail,blogs of medical students,social networking site,etc.
  5. By handing out registration forms to people at schools and colleges.
  6. By propagating about the cause at various medical college fests,eg.pulse-aiims,euphoria-GMCH chd.
  7. By taking out small rallies by the medical students and doctors,(eg a small march at sukhna lake and inviting local press and media to cover the event).
  8. By adding medical college teachers in our campain.
  9. By informing the people that after cadaveric organ donation,there is no disfiguration of the body,and organ donation does not cost anything.

Who can be a Donor?

Anyone can be a donor!! Regardless of age, race or gender .If he/she is under the age of 18 years, then the consent of parent or legal guardian is essential. Medical suitability for donation is determined at the time of death
